More snow?!

Snowing... again. I heard someone say this is the most snow Wisconsin has seen in 8 years. What is going on? So we were stuck indoors without much to do so we did what any good parents do. Let the kids touch the merchandise.

They decided it would be the perfect day to do a cute little photo shoot for the shop. It was wonderful, and they had such a good time! It lasted about 20 minutes, which is 10 more than I thought it would last.

Then out to brave the snow. Ashley thought it was just wonderful to be able to touch the stop sign. The guys even kept up with the snow... thanks Greggers & Mike!

Moxie Art... A wonderful little shop!

My background story & what brought me to this path in my life. My husband, two daughters and I moved to Sheboygan Falls in February 2007 for his job. We are so fortunate to have ended up in such a wonderful community. We were originally from the Finger Lakes region of Upstate NY in a town a bit smaller than Falls. My husband had a pottery studio there, and we attended art shows in the summer and sold his work on consignment in shops. I missed the people we would meet at the shows. I also knew what we looked for in a well run consignment shop. I just woke up one day and decided that I would run the type of shop that we would walk into and be able to buy an item that was completely unique and different. There is Art & craft to choose from, and an abundance of talent. I am especially excited to be starting the artist receptions in January. It will give people a opportunity to meet with the artists & get to know other people in the community as well. I couldn't be any more pleased with my wonderful shop & the wonderful people I've met.
